It has been helping people heal physical pain since 1900 in the Usui Lineage. I have been helping people heal their physical pain since first studying it in 1991 as a Registered Nurse who had a deep desire to help her Cancer patients with their break through pain. Reiki healing is a gentle laying on of hands. It is relaxing, soothing and calming for most. It assists to alleviate physical pain, release toxins from the body and encourages ‘flow’ in energetic Qi pathways of the body. Unblocking energy flow has many other benefits for body, mind & spirit. Many bodies release stored trauma during a Reiki treatment.
During a Reiki session, the practitioner lightly places their hands on or just above specific areas of the body to encourage the natural movement of energy. Clients often describe sensations such as gentle warmth, tingling, or a deep sense of calm as the body’s energy begins to balance. The treatment supports the parasympathetic nervous system, allowing the body to shift out of a state of stress and into deep relaxation.
